Send your child to the beautiful Santander, Spain, where they can learn Spanish and surf in one exciting programme. Designed for students aged 12–16, our Junior Spanish & Surf Camp ensures they experience an immersive programme, improving their Spanish skills while enjoying the thrill of the ocean!

Sardinero Beach
All camps run Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note that the camp is closed at weekends and public holidays.

Morning drop-off is at 9:00 a.m. each day, and pick-up is at 4:00 p.m. All drop-offs and pick-ups occur at the school entrance.
Children attending our day camps will need to bring a packed lunch and drink bottle each day. We provide a mid-day snack for all children.
Our day camps do not include accommodation. You are required to drop your child off in the mornings and collect them in the afternoons.
Children surf at the beautiful El Sardinero Beach, with two hours of expert instruction daily and fun, supervised beach activities. All equipment and insurance are fully included.

Children take part in three hours of engaging, immersive Spanish workshops each day designed to enhance language skills through fun, hands-on learning. Workshops rotate throughout the week and include a diverse range of activities, such as:

Request for refunds must be received in writing by email
✅ 15 days or more before the start date of the course: a full refund will be given minus the non-refundable booking fee.
✅ 14 days or less before the start date of the course: A 50% refund will be given minus the non-refundable booking fee.
✅ 7 days or less before the start date of the course, 0% refund will be given.
Please note
Pro-rated refunds are not available for days absent, missed surf lessons due to late arrival, or other services not fully utilised. If a child is registered and attends any part of a session, the full session’s fees are due and payable.
Any children who exhibit behaviour that is deemed inappropriate by the Queensgate College Team will have their participation suspended or terminated without a refund.
Queensgate College reserves the right to cancel courses where there are insufficient numbers or where, for any reason, the course cannot be run. When a course is cancelled, we will move bookings to an alternative course for the same dates. Should you wish to cancel your booking in these circumstances, our normal refund policy will apply. Queensgate College will issue a refund/course credit if no alternative course is available. No other refund will be paid.

La Escuela de Surf Santander
La Escuela de Surf Santander, one of northern Spain’s most respected surf schools, provides our lessons. Founded in 1999, the school has over 20 years of experience teaching surfers of all levels. Recognised by the Spanish and Cantabrian Surf Federations, it is known for its professional instruction, high safety standards, and student-centered approach.
Lessons are held at El Sardinero Beach, a prime surf destination with ideal waves for beginners and advanced surfers. Depending on conditions, students may also train at Playa de Valdearenas in Liencres, ensuring the best possible surfing experience. La Escuela de Surf Santander offers facilities, including access to hot showers and changing areas, providing a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment. With a team of certified instructors, many of whom were once students, the school fosters a welcoming and motivating environment for young surfers.
